Free Condoms for Everyone and Birth Control Pills Galore

This Friday just keeps getting better. Free contraceptive services for all women!

From the Raw Story:

Speaking on background Friday morning, a senior administration official told Raw Story that despite the planned “accommodation” for religious groups pushing back against universal contraceptive coverage, “All women will still have access to free preventative care, no matter where they work.”

The “accommodation” being made will remove the burden of paying for contraceptives from religious employers, placing it entirely on health insurers instead.

(Where it should be.)

“Women who work at these institutions are going to have access to these free contraceptive services, that’s guaranteed,” the official said.

(That’s right.)

The Catholic Church, which considers use of contraceptives a sin, had been pushing back against the new rule, calling it an attack on their religious liberty.

(Unbelievable!)

The Obama administration had initially given Catholic non-profits a one-year grace period to implement the rule, whereas all other private health insurance plans will begin offering free contraception by August 1.

(Hang on ’till then ladies…)

An exemption for religious non-profits that hire exclusively within their faith remains in the rule, officials said. Religious groups that receive an exemption must also provide their employees with information on how to obtain contraceptive coverage.

(Nice.)

“This is a very common sense solution that holds to core principles the administration holds dear,” another official concluded.

Why is it that the very people who are against abortion are also against contraception? Could it be misogyny?

I don’t think it’s misogyny, per se. After all, they call themselves “Pro-Life” while being for the death penalty.

I think they’re “sheeples” who swallow, hook, line, and sinker, the “belief” offered by the 1% that someday, they, too, can pass through the magic door into the American Dream. As the 1% closes that door farther and farther, trying their hardest to seal it (PIPA, ACTA, Right to Work laws which actually take worker protections away and cut workers pay…), these “sheeples” try more and more desperately to believe, and to support that Dream.

That means, cutting taxes, wages, and any other moneys that don’t go to the 1% by creating a cheap, plentiful workforce, here. Without birth control, the poor will keep multiplying. Without healthcare, the weaker ones will die out. The stronger ones, becoming more desperate over time, will work for less and less — less pay and less protection from workplace injuries and illnesses that, without “entitlements” like workers’ comp, health insurance, unemployment, etc., mean they will disappear off the face of the earth faster. (Alan Grayson said the Republican plan for healthcare was (1) Don’t get sick, and (2) If you do get sick, die fast. He was right.) Insurance companies will still be paid for coverage, but more and more, they will be allowed to keep the pay and cover nothing.

No more need to allow illegals in, nor to have cheap labor overseas, with high shipping costs to bring the products here. Just recreate our own cheap, disposable class of citizens with empty dreams. This is what the North was doing with new European immigrants, when the South had slavery, by the way.

So, calling it what it is, the anti-abortion, anti-contraception, pro-death penalty lot are not “Pro-Life.” They are merely “Pro-Pregnancy.” Women are merely baby factories createed to create the cheap labor that the 1% would make all their undertaxed millions from.

One more thing: While Romney claims he wants lower government taxes and he earns over $20,000,000 a year without lifting a finger, the truth is, that money he “earns” comes from his taxation (yes, without representation) of the poor who actually perform the work to create the products for which Romney and his sort are being paid. Pay back the workers? Even indirectly through universal health care? How about just unemployment for times like these? I think not, say the Romney-ites!

I meant to include, in the first paragraph, that most deathrow inmates are men, so men are, in their own way, also targeted by Pro-Lifers. Having read the rest of my comment, you should be able to connect the dots: Death row inmates cost a lot of money to feed, shelter, and guard, provide medical care under guard, and pay government lawyers to fight appeals in court. And for what? They can’t even be used for slave labor in the fields, as they once were, because the cost of guarding them exceeds the profits their slave labor would accrue. Hence, they are worthless to the 1%, and so should be disposed of ASAP.

The sheeples agree. They drank the koolaid. Too bad for them: The koolaid doesn’t transform itself into champagne, and drinking it doesn’t transform them into anything above disposable cheap labor. No matter what they do, they will not earn the favor and respect of the 1%. At most, an individual, here and there, like the pizza king, Cane, will be elevated to happy puppet — until he, too, is no longer useful. That fall from grace is going to hurt, too!
