How do You Celebrate Carl Sagan Day?

November 9th is Dr. Sagan’s birthday.  He would be 76* today had we not lost him to cancer in 1996.  Here are some suggestions from the Carl Sagan Day Facebook Page:

          • eat apple pie,
          • wear a red turtleneck and a brown jacket,
          • don a fringe (bangs),
          • watch the stars,
          • sing whale songs,
          • have billions of fun,
          • use logic and reason,
          • light a candle in the dark,
          • check for dragons in your garage,
          • chase away the demons that haunt the world…
              • I’ll add- visit the Carl Sagan Portal who’s mission is “to awaken the broadest possible public to the wonders of nature as revealed by science.”
